Dennis Booth is an Illustrator, Cartoonist and Graphic Designer
who has spent 4 years developing his skills in Typography, Web Design
and Illustration, with a Big emphasis on Illustration. He spends
any and all spare time either working on Illustrations, Merchandise
to make quick money (which never seems to pay off), or catching
up on his sleep.
In between complaining about a severe lack of funds, and blowing
his whole paycheque on Magazines (such as Computer Arts, Imagine
FX, Doctor Who Magazine, SFX etc), he spends every available moment
either drawing or learning about drawing. This isn't to say he's
an amazing Illustrator on par with Johnen Vasquez and Frank Cho,
but he does at least buy a lot of their stuff.
His influences include Liberty Meadows, PVP, Invader Zim, I feel
Sick, Star Wars, American McGee's Alice, Clive Barker, Silent Hill,
Halo, Metal Gear Solid, Farscape, Danger Girl, Gorillaz and Doctor
Who. Video Games, Books, TV Shows Comics and Cartoons, all of these
double as both inspiration, and the reason he never does anything
serious with his time.
He is currently working on getting his name out in the Illustration
world while at the same time trying to create an Illustration he
doesn't hate. There is a comic anthology, an Illustrated story and
a Web comic all in the pipeline.
