So this is your first time visiting? Welcome to DENNIS Illustration and Graphic Design, the home of Dennis Booth, a Graduate student of Graphic Design for 4 years and Freelance Illustrator and on again/off again cartoonist.

This website has gone through a few different incarnations in the past 2 years, but in its most current form my intention is to have a fully functional Gallery of my Illustration work. Im a Freelance Illustrator with an education in Graphic Design, so the most important element of this site should be the artwork, no?

My 'Design Ethos' if you will is to inject a bit of fun into everything I do. Normally its pretty Dark fun, but fun nevertheless. As I hope this site is testament to, Im a fairly ok kind of guy, easy going with a twisted and warped sense of humour which I use to give my work that added zest. Cute skulls, tortured animals and thin moody Goths tend to be hallmarks in my work. But don't worry folks, I do serious stuff too.

Anyway's, enjoy exploring the site, I hope you find what your looking for. And if you dont, then you could always commision me... Seriously, I have yet to earned any real money from my work to date. Still, I dont really do it for the money, I Love what I do. Im just saying it would be nice to get a little financial reward for my efforts. *smirk*

This website was created 2 years ago as part of an end of year project for University. It was my first website to actually go live. By that, I mean a website which I actually own, not some horrific monster thrown up on Angelfire. And yes, I did websites like that. Lots of them.

But life is all about learning and improving, and as this website now go's into its second incarnation, all nice tan's and soft browns, Im already learning new things about web design. For example, the oh-so-handy use of Template pages. Now if I ever need to make a mass change over my website, all I need to do is just edit one page and the whole site get's adjusted.

Learning by doing, its often the best way.
